KNYSNA NEWS - For Youth Month, Ward 6 councillor Ricky van Aswegen and Ward 11 councillor Donovan Pofadder donated R10 000 to Knysna Secondary School.
On 10 June, Knysna Municipality Youth Desk also handed over branded golf shirts to the Grade 12 learners ahead of a planned educational tour to universities in Cape Town.
Van Aswegen encouraged the Grade 12 learners to serve as ambassadors of the town.
He added, "Use education as a tool to rise above your circumstances and to constructively contribute towards breaking down social difficulties the youth are faced with."
