Knysna Municipality has released the following contact details should anyone see oil on beaches, or birds and seals affected by the oil spilage from the cargo ship stranded near Buffalo Bay.
"At this stage assistance is not required for beach cleanups as a workforce has been secured. However, any person wishing to volunteer to clean birds, transport fauna or to provide other support must please contact Mandy at gemsbok@mweb.co.za. Please provide your name, telephone number and what you can offer," says Knysna Municipality communications officer, Athane Scholtz.
