The headline on page 2 “Knysna MM’s reappointment illegal” should read “Bitou MM’s reappointment illegal”.
We regret the headline error that slipped in on deadline.
The story is about the recent Labour Appeal Court finding that the reinstatement some two years ago of Mr Lonwabo Ngoqo, as Municipal Manager at Bitou Municipality, was illegal.
The Knysna MM had no involvement in the issue, and we apologise to Knysna’s MM and the Knysna Municipality for any inconvenience caused by the mistake.
