SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS – Group Editors won several awards tonight, Thursday 28 March, at the prestigious Caxton Excellence Awards ceremony.
The 30th annual Caxton Excellence Awards are taking place at the Maslow Hotel, Time Square in Pretoria.
Group Editors were awarded the following awards:
- 2018 Group Editors Holiday Guide: Best Major Advertisement Feature of the Year.
- Kristy Kolberg: Headline Writer of the Year
- George Herald: Front Page of the Year
- George Herald: Best Sold Newspaper of the Year
- Hugo Redelinghuys: Photo of the Year
- George Herald - Best Digital Presence of the Year
The awards are hosted annually to recognise the hard work of the Caxton teams across South Africa.
The evening’s celebration is in honour of the media group’s editorial, sales, advertising, management and support staff.
This year’s theme is ‘Renaissance’.
