PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - K-Rides, a Plett-based charity for rescued horses, recently held its first fun run/walk of 2023.
While the kiddies had rides on much-loved horses, participating runners ran to the top of the wooded ridge where they were treated to a stunning view of the entire Plettenberg Bay.
The 7km route was chosen as it is a favourite outride among K-Rides supporters. K-Rides has rescued 10 horses that, instead of possibly being euthanised, are now living a free life as a herd.
