SEDGEFIELD NEWS - A man (22) from Rosedale in George was arrested after a robbery in Sedgefield on 31 January.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, a vehicle with four occupants approached the victim, a 33-year-old woman, in Tarentaal Street in Sedgefield after which they robbed her of personal belongings at approximately. The incident took place at approximately 18:00.
“Investigations led us to one suspect in Rosedale and he was arrested. He appeared in the Knysna Magistrate’s Court on 4 February where the case was postponed for a bail application. His three accomplices are still at large,” said Spies.
