KNYSNA NEWS - If you spot a solitary figure on a bicycle in our neck of the woods sometime by mid-December, it could just well be Limpopo man Nyiko Masango, who has taken it upon himself to create awareness that fathers need to play an active role in the lives of their children and the community at large in a campaign he has dubbed "Presence in Fatherhood".
Masango is traversing the length and breadth of South Africa, in a 3 143km journey that kicked off on 21 November at the country's northernmost border post, Beitbridge, to reach Cape Town in just under a month.
Himself a father of a seven-year-old boy, Masango is also a lifestyle coach, speaker, photographer, ordained reverend, overall adventurer and an entrepreneur.
Affectionately known as Mr Dynamix, he started developing a love for adventure at a very tender age, riding his bicycle around the area he grew up in, and eventually this drive to live life without limits pushed him to take up biking and cycling, sky diving, hiking, running, walking and bungee jumping and many other forms of adventure.
