Update
KNYSNA NEWS - While it still needs a final layer of tar, the first block of the Gray Street redevelopment project in Knysna has finally been opened, with thoroughfare in the section between Waterfront Drive and Gordon Street (excluding the Gordon Street intersection) allowed again from last week Friday, 21 August, a week after it was due to be opened.
Block A will act as a cul-de-sac for the time being, until work on Block B (Gordon to Trotter Street) is completed. This is expected by mid-September.
Block C (Trotter to Rawson Street), which has also been closed off for construction work, is expected to be finalised by mid-October.
