TOWN AREA
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN STR (Thurs 27 July @ 15h20) - Allsound guards requested assistance after apprehending 2 female suspects for shoplifting. Goods to the value of R2052 were recovered and both suspects were handed over to SAPS.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - FICHAT STR (Fri 28 July @ 02h49) - Response officer noticed vehicle window was broken. Surrounding area was searched for possible suspect, no one found.
THEFT - WATERFRONT DR (Sun 30 July @ 10h07) - Shop assistant pressed the panic button after a patrons' wallet was snatched from the table. Area was searched, suspect not found.
BURGLARY - WATERFRONT DR (Mon 31 July @ 07h16) - Client reported a break-in at the property. Suspect forced burglar bars and pulled cash register. Owner confirmed cash missing from site. SAPS were notified and a case opened.
BURGLARY - HIGH STR (Tues 1 August @ 07h54) - Client reported that their home was broken into around 06h00. Suspect entered via unlocked door and stole a handbag, 2 cellphones, cash and car keys. No case opened at the time.
BURGLARY - LEAGUE STR (Tues 1 August @ 08h45) - Non-client telephoned to report a break-in at their home. A PlayStation and other items were reported missing. Declined to open case.
THEFT - VOORTREKKER STR (Tues 1 August @ 09h01) - Allsound guard apprehended a suspected stealing a wooden table from the property. Keyholder and SAPS were notified. Keyholder declined to open a case and suspect was released.
THEFT OUT M.V. - RAWSON STR (Tues 1 August @ 15h50) - Client phoned our control room to report that one of the residents vehicles was broken into during the night. Unknown if anything missing.
BURGLARY - LONG STR (Wed 2 August @ 07h30) - Keyholder phoned to report that a break-in had occurred during the night. Suspect broke through the roof of the building and disabled the alarm. Items were recovered in the premises, unknown at the time what losses were. SAPS on scene and a case was opened.
BURGLARY - LEAGUE STR (Wed 2 August @ 22h31) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in. Door had been forced open. Owner unavailabe to confirm if anything missing. No case opened at the time.
PARADISE / KNYSNA HEIGHTS / HEUWELKRUIN
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - TEMPLEMAN DR (Sat 29 July @ 06h02) - Client phoned to report that someone was busy breaking into his car. Officers were dispatched. Owner confirmed that a wallet was stolen. Surrounding area was searched, suspects not found. A case was opened.
THEFT - RIDGE DR (Tues 1 August @ 11h20) - Client reported suspect in neighbouring property stealing copper pipes. Officer responded and apprehended suspect. Unable to reach owner to open a case and suspect was released.
THEFT - CIRCULAR DR (Tues 1 August @ 15h55) - Client reported a suspicious person. Allsound response was dispatched, when suspect saw vehicle, he dropped the bag and fled. Bag contained stolen copper and metal.
THEFT - CIRCULAR (Wed 2 August @ 15h01) - Client requested assistance after someone tried to sell him a light. Officer responded and confirmed that light was stolen from property in Paradise. Suspect was handed over to SAPS.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
THEFT - STINKHOUT CRESC (Sat 29 July @ 10h35) - Two suspects were identified from CCTV footage following a theft case the day before. Both suspects were taken to the police station to be charged with theft for stealing various items from the garden.
THEFT OUT M.V - BOKMAKIERIE STR (Sun 30 July @ 19h55) - Client requested assistance after a car was broken into. Owner of the car confirmed that a laptop, keys and toiletry bag was missing. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
BURGLARY - SUNVALLEY DR (Wed 2 August @ 06h44) - Officer responded to alarm and confirmed positive break-in. Kitchen window was found forced open. Keyholder reported that a portable radio and CD's were missing. Owner would open a case.
BURGLARY - SUNVALLEY DR (Wed 2 August @ 11h14) - Allsound client telephoned to report that there was a break-in at neighbouring property. Response officer confirmed window broken and speaker found lying outside. Keyholder was unavailable to confirm if anything else was missing.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - GLADSTONE STR (Fri 28 July @ 00h15) - Client reported a break-in at the premises and that suspect was still in the building. Vehicles were dispatched to site. Suspect was apprehended and handed over to SAPS. Case was opened.
BURGLARY - VIGILANCE DR (Sat 29 July @ 04h15) - Two vehicles were dispatched to repeat alarm signals approaching from opposite sides of the premises. Officer responding to the back of the property apprehended 2 suspects in possession of stolen items. Case was opened and suspects were handed over to SAPS.
THEFT - VIGILANCE DR (Sat 29 July @ 05h34) - Allsound guard requested assistance after seeing a suspect running down the road, carrying a battery. Officers searched the area and recovered the battery. This was later linked to a theft from parked vehicle at another premises.
BURGLARY - PROGRESS DR (Mon 31 July @ 12h34) - Client reported premises was broken into but no access was gained and nothing missing. SAPS were notified.
FISHER HAVEN / HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD
THEFT OUT M.V. - WILSON STR (Fri 27 July @ 08h10) - Client telephoned our control room after finding bags dumped on their property. The stolen items were later linked to a motor vehicle break-in in the area. Case was opened with SAPS.
THEFT OUT M.V. - BARACUDA STR (Tues 1 August @ 07h30) - Client stopped our response officer to report that his vehicle was broken into during the night. Owner confirmed his cellphone was missing. No case opened.
THEFT OUT M.V. - BARACUDA STR (Wed 2 August @ 05h34) - Client requested assistance after her vehicle was broken into. Area was searched but no one found. Client would open a case with SAPS later in the day.
THE HEADS
BURGLARY - GEORGE REX DR (Fri 28 July @ 22h25) - Client phoned to report a break-in at the premises. Suspect climbed in through open window while the guests were out and stole 4 cellphones. SAPS were notified and 1 of the cellphones was tracked. SAPS arrested suspect and retrieved 3 of the cellphones. No case was opened and suspect was released.
