KNYSNA NEWS - PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS:
TOWN AREA
BURGLARY - GRAY STR (Thu 17 January @ 14h20) – Client arrived home and saw suspect running from property. He then noticed his garage has been broken into. A clothing description was supplied to Allsound. Officers apprehended the suspect in possession of the stolen items. A case was opened and suspect was handed over to SAPS.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY - FICHAT STR (Sat 19 January @ 16h03) - Allsound Camera Operator dispatched Officers to investigate possible suspicious activity spotted on CCTV cameras. The 2 suspects were found in possession of items stolen the previous night from a vehicle. Suspects were handed over to SAPS.
BURGLARY - LEAGUE STR (Sun 20 January @ 14h01) - Client requested assistance after finding stolen items in her garden. It was discovered that the neighbour's garage had been broken into. Owner of the property was notified and would open a case.
BURGLARY - LEAGUE STR (Sun 20 January @ 14h30) - While attending to above break-in, it was discovered that another garage had been broken into. Ownerconfirmed that a white Giant Bicycle was missing.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Mon 21 January @ 15h43) - Allsound Guards apprehended suspect for shoplifting. A case was opened and suspect was charged.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - THESEN HARBOUR TOWN (Tues 22 January @ 21h56) - Officer responded to panic alarm. Client reported that the luggage hold of a tour bus has been broken into. Nothing was stolen.
ATTEMPTED THEFT - TROTTER STR (Wed 23 January @ 11h27) - Client reported an attempted theft during the night. Suspect climbed onto 2nd floor balcony and tried to pull a handbag through open window. No losses.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - THESEN HILL STR (Wed 23 January @ 15h40) - Client requested assistance after 2 power tools were stolen from the back of his bakkie. No information available on suspect/s. Area was searched.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
COMMON ROBBERY - SALIE STR (Fri 18 January @ 16h22) - Client phoned for assistance after pedestrian reported that a group of youngsters tried to rob them. Allsound and SAPS Officers searched the area for suspects, no arrests were made.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - SUNVALLEY DR (Sat 19 January @ 06h13) - Client phoned in reporting an intruder on the property. Suspect was found on 2nd floorbalcony hiding under a table. Suspect was handed over to SAPS and a case opened.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - CONCORDIA RD (Fri 18 January @ 23h40) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in at a school tuck shop. Keyholder was notified, nothing reportedly missing. No case opened.
BURGLARY - PROGRESS STR (Sat 19 January @ 15h30) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found open window. Keyholder was notified and reported nothing was missing. No case opened.
BURGLARY - JONKER STR (Tues 22 January @ 08h08) - Client telephoned to report an attempted break-in at the flat. Window had been broken but nothing reported missing.
BURGLARY - SONQAYI STR (Tues 22 January @ 17h43) - Client reported a burglary at the property. Window was removed from frame. Nothing was visibly missing. SAPS were notified.
HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN
BURGLARY - WILSON STR (Sun 20 January @ 14h44) - Keyholder phoned in to report a break-in at the property. Suspect/s had entered through the roof and disabled main alarm system. The flat had also been broken into. Losses unknown. A case was opened for further investigation.
SALT RIVER / GREEN PASTURES / BLARICUM
BURGLARY - SALT RIVER RD (Wed 23 January @ 22h21) - Camera Operators spotted 2 suspects on cameras in the area. Allsound Officers responded and apprehended both suspects who were later linked to a break-in at nearby property.
