TOWN AREA
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Sun 16 December @ 13h00) – Allsound Guards apprehended a suspect for shoplifting 2 pairs of shoes. Suspect was charged.
SHOPLIFTING / THEFT - MAIN STR (Sun 16 December @ 13h15) - Allsound guards reported clothing and stole 2 rings shoplifted from jewellery store. The vehicle and occupants were apprehended in George and stolen items recovered.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - QUEEN STR (Mon 17 December @ 04h08) - Officers responded to alarm signal and found vehicle window smashed. Area searched. Well-known suspect just released on parole apprehended, found in possession of items stolen from vehicle. Suspect handed over to SAPS.
THEFT - FICHAT ST (Thurs 20 December @ 09h09) – Client reported cellphone stolen through open window. Client declined to open a case.
THEFT - VOORTREKKER ST (Fri 21 December @ 02h57) - Guest reported bicycle stolen from property. No description available, guest would open a case.
COMMON ROBBERY - NELSON ST (Sat 22 December @ 03h09) - Officer stopped to assist a man who was robbed of his wallet. Allsound Officers gave chase and apprehended the suspect. Wallet was recovered. Victim declined to open a case and suspect had to be released.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Sat 22 December @ 12h37) - Allsound Guards reported that a suspect was apprehended for shoplifting 13 pairs of jeans. Case was opened and suspect was charged.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - UNION ST (Sat 22 December @ 20h19) - Officers responded to alarm signal from back of premises and apprehended suspect on site. No entry was gained. Client declined to open a case.
COMMON ROBBERY - MAIN ST (Mon 24 December @ 23h08) - 2 Female tourists stopped Allsound Officer to report that they were robbed of their backpacks and cellphones by a tall slender suspect. SAPS were also notified and attempts were made to track the cellphone. Ladies were further assisted by SAPS members.
BURGLARY - CLYDE ST (Wed 26 December @ 13h01) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in. Suspect entered via forcing open back window. Keyholder reported that 2 bottles of wine were missing. No case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - TROTTER ST (Wed 26 December @ 15h18) - Officer was dispatched to alarm and found that the lock of the security gate had been broken off. Keyholder confirmed nothing missing, no case was opened.
BURGLARY - VOORTREKKER ST (Fri 28 December @ 07h06) - Client phoned to report that they had a break-in. Suspect climbed through 2nd floor window and stole 3 cellphones and a laptop. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
BURGLARY - FICHAT ST (Fri 28 December @ 12h25) - Client requested assistance after finding window open and burglar bars forced. Bags of clothing were reported missing.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Fri 28 December @ 14h34) - Allsound Guards apprehended a suspect for shoplifting. Case opened and suspect handed to SAPS.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN RD (Fri 28 December @ 17h40) - Allsound guards requested SAPS after 2 juveniles were caught shoplifting. The children were handed over to SAPS for further follow up with Social Services and parents.
BURGLARY - MONTAGUE ST (Sun 30 December @ 04h44) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found window forced open. Owner was notified and reported that 3 laptops and chargers were missing. Case was opened.
BURGLARY - RAWSON ST (Sun 30 December @ 07h24) - Homeowner stopped our Response Vehicle to report that they had a break-in during the night. Clothing was reportedly stolen.
BURGLARY - CLYDE ST (Mon 31 December @ 14h13) - Client requested assistance after his gardener caught a suspect in the house. Suspect taken into custody.
BURGLARY - THESEN HARBOUR TOWN (Mon 31 December @ 23h59) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found door forced open. Owner was notified and confirmed that several bags and clothing was missing. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
THEFT - THESEN HILL S (Tues 1 January @ 02h10) - A gentleman stopped our Response Officer to report that his bicycle had just been stolen. Controllers spotted the suspect on CCTV cameras in the area and identified which direction he fled. Suspect was apprehended within minutes. Case was opened and suspect was charged.
HOUSE ROBBERY - NEWTON ST (Tues 1 January @ 16h13) - Client activated the panic alarm after confronting suspect in her home. Suspect stole a cellphone and jewellery from the owner and fled. Area was searched, no arrests made at the time. A case of house robbery was opened.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - MONTAGUE ST (Wed 2 January @ 09h30) - Client reported that a guests' vehicle was broken into during the night. No information available with regards to what was stolen. Guest opened a case at SAPS.
PARADISE / KNYSNA HEIGHTS / WESTHILL
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - RIDGE DR (Fri 14 December @ 02h50) - Client pressed the panic button for possible intruder on premises. Officers responded and found force marks on a door. No entry was gained, no losses.THEFT - WESTHILL DR (Sat 15 December @ 15h43) - Resident telephoned to report that 2 bicycles were stolen from his garden. Time of theft was unknown. Residentdeclined to open a case.
COMMON ROBBERY - AZALEA ST (Thurs 20 December @ 02h25) - Client reported hearing a lady screaming. Officers responded and found a lady who reported that she was robbed and assaulted. SAPS were notified, lady declined to open a case.
THEFT - HANDEL ST (Sun 30 December @ 08h38) - Client reported that a purse was stolen out her handbag. Suspect had entered the house via open door sometime in preceding half hour. No description available. No case was opened.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
COMMON ROBBERY - N2 (Fri 14 December @ 13h25) - Gentleman stopped our Response Vehicle to assist a lady who had been robbed of her handbag at knifepoint. Area was searched by Allsound and SAPS members, no arrests made. Case was opened.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - HOLIDAY CRESC (Fri 14 December @ 15h15) - Client telephoned to report that a customer's vehicle was broken into. A bag containing clothing was missing. Owner would open case at SAPS.
BURGLARY - OLD TOLL RD (Sun 16 December @ 15h01) - Resident telephoned to report that there was an intruder in the neighbours property. Officer responded and SAPS notified. The suspect was caught inside the home while trying to remove the flat screen TV. Suspect was charged house break-in.
BURGLARY - KAMDEBO STR (Sun 16 December @ 21h36) - Client triggered her alarm after hearing a lady screaming in the area. Officer responded and assisted the resident of a nearby property who reported that she found a suspect in her home. Suspect had fled, nothing reported missing. Case was opened.
THEFT - BOKMAKIERIE ST (Thurs 20 December @ 17h30) - Allsound Officer spotted a well-known suspect on Salt River Road pushing a new bicycle. Suspect was handed over to SAPS for possession of suspected stolen goods. Bicycle was linked to a theft from Bokmakierie street.
THEFT OUT OF M.V. - MILKWOOD DR (Fri 21 December @ 22h02) - Client telephoned to advise that his visitors' vehicle was broken into an hour earlier. They chased after the suspect and got the goods back. No case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - HOLIDAY CRESC (Sat 22 December @ 03h06) - Client reported that someone tried to break in at neighbouring property. Owner confirmed that suspect tried to open the sliding door but fled when the owners disturbed him. No entry gained and no case was opened.
SHOPLIFTING - HOLIDAY CRESC (Sun 23 December @ 10h40) - Client requested assistance after apprehending a suspect for shoplifting. Suspect was detained, case opened and charged accordingly.
BURGLARY - ASSEGAAI ST (Mon 24 December @ 12h05) - Client requested assistance after arriving home to discover burglary. Alarm was not armed at the time and suspect forced open bathroom window and burglar bars. Client was unsure of what was missing. Case was opened with SAPS.
ATTEMPTED THEFT - BOEKENHOUT ST (Wed 26 December @ 18h00) - Client phoned in requesting assistance after they apprehended a suspect. Suspect had tried to steal items from a neighbouring property. Nothing was reported missing. Suspect was handed over to SAPS for possession of break-in implements.
THEFT - SUNVALLEY DR (Mon 31 December @ 12h21) - Client phoned in to report that his bicycle was stolen in the preceding 45 minutes. A description of the bike was provided. Allsound Officer spotted the bicycle half hour later. Suspect was apprehended, case was opened and bike returned to owner.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - GEORGE REX DR (Sat 15 December @ 22h16) - Guard activated the panic alarm when 2 suspects were seen on property. Officers found container locks open and building supplies dropped outside. Keyholder was notified but unable to confirm if anything was missing. Container was secured.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN GOODS - BOSWERKER STR (Wed 19 December @ 00h30) - Allsound Officer stopped a suspect in possession of a Makita skilsawbelieved to be stolen. SAPS were notified and suspect was handed over for possession of possible stolen goods.
THEFT - VIGILANCE DR (Tues 25 December @ 21h15) - Client reported a suspicious person seen carrying a bundle of planks. Officer responded and found planks on sidewalk but no sign of suspect. Planks were secured at Allsound Offices pending identification of owner.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM M.V. - VIGILANCE DR (Fri 28 December @ 01h27) - Guard activated the panic alarm after 3 suspects were spotted trying to steal from a vehicle. Suspects fled.
THEFT FROM M.V. - PROGRESS ST (Sat 29 December @ 10h34) - Client reported theft at premises during the night. Equipment was stolen from Boat, radio from caravan and vehicle window broken. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
BURGLARY - PROGRESS ST (Mon 31 December @ 03h17) - Officers responded to alarm signal and saw suspect running from premises. Storeroom door had been forced open and suspect left his backpack on property. Allsound Officers searched the area and suspect was apprehended. Case was opened and suspect was handed over to SAPS.
BURGLARY - KHAYALETHU (Mon 31 December @ 16h18) - Officer responded to alarm and confirmed that window and burglar bars had been forced open. Keyholder reported that nothing was missing. No case was opened.
HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN
THEFT - HUNTERS ESTATE DR (Fri 14 December @ 20h46) - A lady reported that her purse was stolen from her handbag while she left it unattended. A description of suspect was given and area was searched. SAPS apprehended the suspect and retrieved the stolen items.
THEFT - SUNNINGHILL DR (Sun 23 December @ 18h49) - Client telephoned to report a suspicious person carrying wooden balustrades. Suspect dropped the items and fled when confronted. Items were stolen from building site and owner was notified. Items were returned to the property.
LEISURE ISLAND
THEFT - CEARN DR (Thurs 27 December @ 10h34) - Our control room received a call to report that a lady had gone swimming and left her towel and shoes on bench. When she returned the items were missing.
THEFT - GARDEN CRES (Fri 28 December @ 16h15) - Resident reported that his gardener's bicycle was stolen from the property but not sure when it happened. Areawas searched, suspect was not found.
WELBEDACHT / KANONKOP / EASTFORD
HOUSE ROBBERY - EASTFORD (Fri 14 December @ 22h28) - Officers responded to panic alarm for a house robbery. Four suspects overpowered the homeowner when he let the dog out. They fled with cash, jewellery and cellphones. SAPS were notified and all parties searched for the suspects. No arrests were made.
ATTEMPTED THEFT - KANONKOP (Sat 29 December @ 12h43) - Client reported a trespasser on estate. Suspect attempted to steal copper water pipes but fled. No case opened.
SALT RIVER / GREEN PASTURES / BLARICUM
BURGLARY - SALT RIVER RD (Thurs 20 December @ 16h13) - Client requested assistance after witnessing a suspect breaking in at neighbours property. Suspect was followed and excellent clothing description was provided. The suspect was apprehended and stolen goods recovered. Suspect was handed over to SAPS with case opened.
BURGLARY - SALT RIVER RD (Fri 21 December @ 09h35) - Client reported that his tool shed was broken into. 2 Chainsaws were stolen from the container sometime during the night. Owner would open a case with SAPS.
BRENTON ON SEA / LAKE BRENTON
ATTEMPTED COMMON ROBBERY - CR SWART DR (Sat 22 December @ 18h40) - Client requested assistance after an unknown man ran onto his property seeking help. The man reported that an assailant tried to rob him. Area was searched for the suspect. No arrests made and nothing was stolen.
THEFT - LAKE BRENTON (Mon 31 December @ 16h20) - Client reported that his boat was broken into. Fishing and boat equipment were missing.
THEFT OUT M.V. - LAKE BRENTON (Tues 2 January @ 09h16) - Client reported that his wallet was stolen from his unlocked vehicle sometime during the night. The wallet was found later that day at a burnt out property in Town and returned to owner.
BUFFALO BAY
BURGLARY - SAND ST (Tues 1 January @ 10h37) - Client notified control room that they had a burglary during the night. Suspect entered via open window and stole a handbag with iPhone and car keys. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
RHEENENDAL / PHANTOM RIVER
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - LEEUWENBOSCH (Sun 23 December @ 01h34) - Client phoned reporting that his staff disturbed a suspect trying to break-in. Suspect fled and nothing was reported missing.
THEFT - PHANTOM RIVER RD (Mon 24 December @ 11h28) - Resident reported that his laptop was stolen from his deck during the night. CCTV footage was supplied and suspect was identified by Allsound Officer. Case was opened and information handed over to SAPS.
