Flooding of these relatively new homes has left residents scrambling to save furniture and to keep their children dry after the incessant rain of last night.

At 12:45 today a large tree fell over the Welbedacht Road opposite the Timber Village, cutting off tourists visiting the wood museum and Timber Village.
They had to wait for the Knysna Fire Department to clear the way for them to be able to leave.
