KNYSNA NEWS - An altercation between two women in the Ethembeni area, Concordia on Thursday 16 May led to the death of Nyameka Booi (33). She allegedly had an argument with Vuyelwa Botana-Miah (28) and was stabbed with a knife.
The victim sustained stab wounds to the chest and was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Botana-Miah was subsequently arrested and appeared in the Knysna Magistrate's Court on Monday 20 May, when the matter was postponed to 10 June for a formal bail application.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said their detective branch is investigating a case of murder.
