KNYSNA NEWS - It was Christmas in July as Epilepsy SA's South Cape/Karoo branch hosted its annual dance on Saturday 29 July at the Knysna Angling Club.
The event boasted an attendance of 100 guests.
A raffle was held with prizes donated by the Ikhono Group, Knysna Roofing, the German Shop, Metelerkamps, Kloppers, Log Inn Knysna and Wimpy Knysna.
It was a fundraiser for the Epilepsy SA South Cape/Karoo branch and was organised by Ashleigh Smith, fundraiser, marketer and PRO for Epilepsy SA in Knysna.
"We had lots of compliments about the music played by Laki Demetriou and Gary White, as well as the lively decor and the dinner which was prepared by the Feedem catering team, managed by Cally Goldsmith," says Smith.
"Our Christmas in July was a hit and we plan on making it an annual event to bring a little cheer during the chill of winter. We will also be doing other dances going forward to raise money and awareness for our organisation that will be open to the public to come and support a good cause."
With the Epilepsy annual dinner dance in full swing, it was truly Christmas in July.
