Easter amazing race for whole family

KNYSNA NEWS - The Masithandane Amazing Race, an event which aims to raise funds for well-known local Sedgefield charity Masithandane is back, now in its fourth year.

This organisation provides services where they are needed most in previously disadvantaged areas and isolated communities.

So step away from the TV, switch off your cellphones and embark on a scintillating adventure that will keep the whole family alert and excited from beginning to end.

The beautiful scenic route will take individuals, couples, groups of family or friends on an educational journey, and entrants stand a chance to win one of the three top-place prizes while supporting a great cause.

The event will start and finish at the Steam Whistle Stop in Sedgefield.

The race is all about having fun. Each team of up to four people will receive a route schedule that describes various items they must find and photograph, so be sure to bring your cellphone or digital camera along with you.

You will also need eyes at the back and sides of your head, and a car of spirited occupants!
