The epilepsy centre is home to 50 permanent residents and caters to 21 day-care visitors; their ages range from 18 to 70.
Resident social worker, Gayle Schmidt said this gesture shows that people care about their residents and day-attendees: "These will make a world of difference. Toiletries are expensive to buy, I am certain our residents value and appreciate this and will see it as Christmas."
Speaking on behalf of Knysna correctional services, Phumla Ralo said they usually choose a home or a centre where there is a great need, and the 'gifts' are from the bottom of their hearts.
Debbie Joubert (27) from the centre, extremely excited to receive her gifts.
