KNYSNA NEWS - A 23-year-old suspect appeared in the Knysna Magistrate's Court on 31 December 2019, after she was arrested on a charge of murder following the death of a 20-year-old man in Concordia on 29 December 2019 at about 21:00.
It is alleged that the woman and her boyfriend had an argument when she stabbed him with a knife.
After being stabbed, he went outside the residence where he collapsed. The victim was later declared dead by paramedics.
In an unrelated matter, police arrested a 31-year-old suspect following the death of a six-month-old infant. Investigation into the case indicates that the infant was assaulted by the suspect, her father. She sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where she later died.
The suspect appeared in the Knysna Magistrate's Court on Monday, 30 December 2019, on a charge of murder. This matter was postponed to 6 January for a formal bail application.
