KNYSNA NEWS - Minister of Human Settlements Mmamoloko Kubayi visited the Garden Route on Thursday 18 May to assess the progress made in projects run by her department.
In Knysna she addressed the community at the Concordia Faith Mission Church and in Plettenberg Bay she handed over title deeds to Qolweni housing beneficiaries.
Before this, she had conducted a walkabout around the Concordia Bungalows with various officials so that they could view the areas needed for improvement.
Kubayi encouraged members of the community who were present to speak up on the various issues they are plagued with.
Her visit forms part of the activities of the 2023/2024 Budget Speech and Western Cape Presidential District Development Model Imbizo.
