KNYSNA NEWS - Oakhill College held its annual inter-house athletics and swimming events last month, with each occasion being delightfully colourful as learners came out in support of their teams.
Friday, 24 January saw a green Oakhill Sports Campus transformed into a collage of reds, yellows and blues as the three houses - Jubilee, Millwood and Bendigo - took to the fields to battle it out for the prestigious Winners Cup and Spirit Trophy.
At the end of the day, Jubilee's drive earned them a win with 339 points, while Bendigo followed hot on their heels at 322 points.
Millwood may have ended third with 261 points, but their spirit was phenomenal on the day earning them the coveted Spirit Trophy.

The Inter-House Athletics event was preceded by the annual Inter-House Gala on Wednesday, 22 January. With record participation, this year's gala saw non-stop cheering from start to finish.
The top swimmers swam with great determination and spirit for their houses, with a significant number of records broken. 2020 top honours went to Bendigo house, with second place going to Jubilee and third to Millwood.
