PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Kwanokuthula and New Horizons clinics are closed temporarily due to a march taking place in the area.
According to the clinic: "The safety of our patients and staff are of utmost importance and therefore the decision was made to close these two facilities until it is deemed safe again to service the community.
"Patients are asked to go to Plett Town Clinic as an alternative measure. Management will reassess the situation at 11:00."
Residents marching indicated that they, among other things, wanted their electricity directly from Eskom as the muncipality used the prepaid system to recover rates and taxes. This has lead to residents receiving less electricity units than they pay for.
