PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Motorists have been warned to avoid the N2 between the Airport Road turn-off and the Shell Ultra City in Plettenberg Bay due to protest action which started this evening.
It is unclear as to the reasons for the action, but reports have indicated that protesters are burning tyres and throwing rocks from the footbridge near the Shell Ultra City.
Authorities have urged motorists to use Airport Road or the Wittedrift Road heading in and out of the coastal holiday town.
