KNYSNA NEWS - The Waterfront Knysna Quays held its annual Christmas Party for children from communities in and around Knysna. The two day celebration started on 26 November.
The Quays in collaboration with the Knysna Education Trust invited children from different crèches like,Gummy Bears, Little Rascals, Wielie Walie, Rainbow Kids, Little Teddies and Lithemba.
Just over one hundred children, between the ages of four and six years old attended. They had a quick walk around the premises to watch the stingrays in the Harbour and to marvel at the big bridge opening and closing, whereafter they were treated to a true Cinema experience with a movie, popcorn and cooldrink.
They were delighted with Tom & Jerry’s antics and the sound of children’s laughter could be heard from far. Father Christmas came by to hand each of them a present before they returned home.
