Ranked as one of the top events of its kind in the world, the Sasol Solar Challenge is an exciting eight-day countrywide endurance challenge demonstrating the sophistication and performance of solar-powered vehicles.
It is an initiative that not only promotes the use of alternative energy sources but encourages young minds to become engaged in engineering, science, business practices and teamwork.
The convoy will leave Pretoria on September 27.
Their journey will end in Cape Town on October 4.
