PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has once again suspended CemAir’s operations.
This after the airline operator, which has regular flights in and out of among others Plettenberg Bay, was successful in its bid to overturn the SACAA’s decision to suspend its air operator certificates and ground all its flights at the start of the festive season.
The SACAA released a statement on Friday 11 January saying it has suspended CemAir’s Air Operator Certificates, effective from 17:00.
It further said the decision was “necessitated by concerns over the systematic failure of the airline’s maintanance controls”.
