KNYSNA NEWS - Cases of attempted murder and robbery were opened after a spaza owner was shot in the Flenters location near White Location on Tuesday, 13 August at about 20:15.
Knysna SAPS communications official, sergeant Chris Spies said preliminary investigation into the incident indicates that four suspects, one of which was armed with a firearm, entered the shop.
They took an undisclosed amount of cash and a gunshot went off when they left the premises.
He said, " One person sustained injuries during the incident and was rushed to hospital for further medical attention. The extent of his injuries is not yet known."
No arrests have been made yet.
The police want to urge the public to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation into this matter.
