TOWN AREA
THEFT - THESEN HARBOUR TOWN (Sat 6 May @ 17h42) - Officer responded to panic alarm. Staff on site reported that a bicycle was stolen from outside their premises. Incident may have occurred between 10h00 - 17h42 that day. No description of suspect available. SAPS were informed.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN STR (Wed 10 May @ 14h35) - Allsound Guards requested assistance after apprehending 2 suspects for shoplifting. Suspects were handed over to SAPS and a case opened.
SALT RIVER / EASTFORD EST / BLARRICUM HEIGHTS
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - OLD CAPE RD (Fri 5 May @ 10h06) - Officer responded to panic alarm activated by the keyholder. Force marks were found on the door but no access was gained. No case opened.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
ATTEMPTED THEFT OUT M.V - MILKWOOD DR (Sat 6 May @ 03h44) - Client requested assistance after finding a suspect trying to break into his vehicle. Suspect fled empty-handed. Area was searched, no one found.
THEFT OUT M.V. - MILKWOOD DR (Wed 10 May @ 10h22) - Resident sent email in to report that his vehicle was broken into during the night. Several cases of wine were reported missing.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - NOBLE STR (Sun 7 May @ 18h27) - Client reported an attempted break-in at their premises. The security gate was found forced open but no access gained to the building. Nothing stolen, no case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - HADEDA STR (Tues 9 May @ 07h56) - Client reported attempted break-in after finding lock on the door broken. Owner confirmed nothing missing from the premises. No case opened.
FISHER HAVEN / HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD
BURGLARY - SUNNINGHILL DR (Thurs 4 May @ 08h45) - Client telephoned to report a break-in at one of their staff units sometime during the night. Tenants reported a TV, Microwave, vacuum cleaner and food was stolen. Case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - GALJOEN STR (Sun 7 May @ 12h38) - Client reported an attempted break-in at her home during the night. Screwdriver marks were found on the window, but no entry was gained. No losses reported.
BURGLARY - MARLIN DR (Mon 8 May @ 11h40) - Client phoned to report a break-in at the premises. Window and burglar bars at the back of building were forced open. A laptop was confirmed missing. SAPS were informed and a case was opened.
BRENTON ON SEA / LAKE BRENTON
BURGLARY - STINKHOUT STR (Tues 9 May @ 22h01) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found large window broken and sliding door standing open. Owner confirmed nothing missing. Suspects fled empty handed when alarm siren was triggered. No case opened.
BURGLARY - CR SWART DR (Wednesday, 10 May @ 09h40) - A member of the public reported suspicious activity at neighbouring property. Allsound Response Officers confirmed a positive break-in. Two suspects were later arrested and all stolen goods recovered.
RHEENENDAL
BURGLARY - RHEENENDAL RD (Thurs 4 May @ 08h41) - Officers responded to a panic alarm accidentally set off by burglars. On arrival a window was found forced open and house ransacked. Multiple items were missing. SAPS and Keyholder were notified and a case was opened. SAPS recovered some of the items later in the week during a house raid and 6 suspects were arrested for possession of the stolen goods.
BURGLARY - PHANTOM PASS (Thurs 4 May @ 09h39) - Keyholder telephoned to report a break-in at the property (non-monitored). Door and security gate were broken open. Keyholder confirmed that a Flat Screen TV was missing. SAPS were notified.
BUFFALO BAY
THEFT - BEACH AREA (Fri 5 May @ 10h00) - Client requested assistance after her tekkies were stolen off the beach. Officer searched area for possible suspect, no one found.
