KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality and the Knysna Infrastructure group (KIG) today signed a R2 million memorandum of understanding (MOU) - the first partnership under the new Community Partnerships Policy.
The signing, held at the Knysna council chambers, marks a major milestone in the municipality's drive to formalise co-operation with local civic organisations.
The agreement is the first to be concluded since Council adopted the policy on Community Partnerships on 30 October.
