KNYSNA | BITOU NEWS - While the Western Cape continues to grow past three million vaccine registrations, the Western Cape Department of Health is encouraging businesses to notify them if the business wants to vaccinate its staff.
This outreach by the Department of Health to businesses is aimed at increasing the number of Covid-19 vaccinations in Knysna and Sedgefield by bringing the vaccinations to the businesses themselves.
The department will visit the business to administer the vaccinations. If you'd like the department to visit your business, you can contact Margie Wacher on 082 512 9389.
As at Tuesday 5 July the Western Cape has seen 3 032 050 registrations for the Covid-19 vaccine, 54,02% of the eligible population.
In the Garden Route a total of 264 330 people have registered for the vaccine, 53,39% of the eligible population.
In Knysna there has been a total of 37 316 vaccine registrations, which is 65% of the eligible population. Bitou has seen a total of 23 295 vaccine registrations, 54,82% of the eligible population.
