KNYSNA | BITOU NEWS - Vaccination sites in Knysna and Bitou are carrying the momentum of last year's vaccination drive into the new year.

The country's vaccination drive is also continuing along. As at Monday 10 January the Western Cape has seen 2 810 920 registrations for the Covid-19 vaccine, 50,08% of the eligible population.

In the Garden Route a total of 248 846 people have registered for the vaccine, 50,27% of the eligible population.

In Knysna there has been a total of 35 545 vaccine registrations, which is 61,92% of the eligible population. Bitou has seen a total of 21 639 vaccine registrations, 50,92% of the eligible population.

The vaccination schedule for the rest of the week in Knysna and Bitou is as follows:

• Plettenberg Bay Town Clinic - Thursday 13 January
• Kranshoek Clinic - Thursday 13 January
• Kwanokuthula CDC Khethimpilo Outreach - Tuesday 11 January to Friday 14 January
