KNYSNA | BITOU NEWS - While the Knysna Town Hall is closed for four days of this week due to the administering of booster shots for healthcare workers, the rest of the public vaccination sites are open for business as usual.
As at Monday 15 November, the Western Cape has seen a total of 2 541 272 registrations to get the Covid-19 vaccine (45,28% of the eligible population). The age group with the most registrations is the 18- to 34-year-old group, where 784 148 people have registered.
In the Garden Route there has been a total of 227 496 of Covid-19 vaccination registrations (45,95% of the eligible population). The most registrations come from the 60+ age group with 65 515 registrations.
There has meanwhile been 32 498 vaccine registrations in Knysna, representing 56,61% of the eligible population. The age group with the most registrations is the 35 to 49 group which has so far seen 9 901 people register.
Bitou has a total of 19 360 Covid-19 vaccination registrations as at Monday (45,56% of the eligible population). As with Knysna, the most-registered age group is 35- to 49-year-olds with 6 467 registrations.
