GEORGE NEWS - Savannah Helicopters was established in 2004 and expanded from operating a single small two-seater helicopter used mainly for game work to the current operation that operates nine helicopters and some fixed-wing aircraft.

We are a South African operator, with bases in George, Pretoria and Cape Town.

The majority of the helicopters are of the Airbus H125 type, a very capable single turbine, six-seater that can be configured for missions such as charter, aerial filming work, fire support, external load and survey. Our operation covers all of the African continent and relocates aircraft as required by the client.

We are proud to add private aeroplane charters operating under the FlySavannah logo, to our existing services based at George Airport, primarily using our Pilatus PC-12 NG to fly to a myriad of destinations within South Africa or the region.

This aircraft adds immense value to our existing helicopter fleet and adds value as a time saver for business passengers and tourist travellers alike.
