KNYSNA NEWS - The Party intends to register for the 4 November 2026 local Government Elections.

Notice is hereby given that the KNYSNA CIVIC ALLIANCE, based in Knysna, South Africa, intends to apply to the Chief Electoral Officer of the Electoral Commission (IEC) for registration as a political party.

Base of Operations: Knysna, Western Cape

The Party seeks to have active membership in most wards within the Knysna Jurisdiction in the Western Cape

Objective and Manifesto Summary:

The Knysna Civic Alliance is a community-based organization born out of Knysna. The intention is to attend to Civic problems, a role used to be played by the South African National Civic Organization (SANCO) before 1994.
The Party is embraced, driven and influenced by community members that include young people, workers, Elders, Churches etc. Who refuse to remain bystanders while their children and the town future is being destroyed by corrupt individuals.

Anyone wishing to object to the intended registration of this party may do so by lodging an objection with the Electoral Commission (IEC) setting out the grounds for the objection within 14 days of the publication of this notice.
