BUSINESS NEWS -
Paradise Manor Care Home was founded in 2014 by Sharon Armour and her sister Arlene who studied dementia in the UK. Leanne and Sharon Armour, mother and daughter, carried on the venture.
Arlene, who studied dementia care in the United Kingdom, brought valuable knowledge and expertise to the venture.
At the time, specialised dementia care facilities were virtually unheard of along the Garden Route.
Following the opening of Paradise Manor on 1 March 2014, the response from the community was overwhelming and the home reached full occupancy within its first month.

A year later, Leanne and Sharon purchased the property opposite their original premises, creating the warm and welcoming environment that residents enjoy today.
Beautiful gardens, peaceful walking paths and access to nature provide residents with opportunities to remain active and engaged.
After years of dedication and hard work, Paradise Manor achieved an important milestone in 2023 when it received its Frail Care Certificate, allowing all 22 beds to be fully registered.
Today, Paradise Manor remains committed to providing personalised care in a home-from-home environment, with 24-hour nursing support, dedicated caregivers and a compassionate team focused on meeting each resident’s individual needs.
