Educating the children of our country is difficult enough as it is these days, and when it comes to educating them about the environment and sustainability many people wouldn’t know where to begin. Learning through having fun and getting the children physically involved in the process though makes it a lot easier and exciting, and that is the way a team made up of dairy producer First Choice and the environmental organisation GreenPop have gone about spreading their message. On 30 November the team visited Rheenendal Primary School, situated just outside Knysna, and held a planting workshop as part of the First Choice “It’s all good” campaign, when about 30 trees were planted.
