While there were numerous physical battles fought in various sports disciplines during the Oyster Festival, battles of a different kind were being waged inside Knysna High School's hall as chess players from as far as Port Elizabeth and Mossel Bay made the trek to Knysna for the 2019 Knysna Knights Oyster Festival chess tournament on Sunday 30 June.
