• Sedgefield: Wild Oats Community Farmers' Market every Saturday morning (an award-winning market with over 60 stalls of the finest local farm produce, home bakes, plants and flowers, outdoor breakfast and live music), Scarab Craft Village and Mosaic Market, all close together along the N2.
• Plettenberg Bay: Harkerville Saturday Market every Saturday morning offers food, art and craft and more, on the N2 midway between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
• Rheenendal: Totties Country Market is still going every Sunday between 10:00 and 15:00. Have a leisurely lunch overlooking the Totties gardens, enjoy farm-fresh flavours, taste local cheeses, jams, preserves, balsamic glazes, and all sorts of delicious food and drink! The Knysna Model Trains and playground are on show again too.
• Knysna: The Friday Market at Knysna Montessori School is open every Friday at the school from 16:00 onwards.

Local live shows
• Mel's Place will be a hive of activity over the next month or so. Riaan Smit will bring his musical sounds to Plett on 17 March, followed by Johan Liebenberg who will be performing a mix of Neil Diamond and many other golden oldies. Lastly for March, Alice and the Bad Moon will be performing a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute show on 27 March. Find more information on Mel's Place's Facebook page.
• Better Live is welcoming a good few artists in the coming weeks. First up will be Gerald Clark at Red Bridge Brewery on 11 March, followed by Dan Patlansky at Blend Country Restaurant on 18 March and then Riaan Smit will make a turn in Knysna on 20 March, also at Blend. • This Friday Bloo Bistro is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a jam-packed line-up of local DJs and musicians, going all the way into the night. It kicks off at 18:00 with Elron, whose set will go until 20:00. DJ RB will take over and continue up to 21:30 before Feel Good Inc takes the stage until 22:30. Liquid Lew is up next until 23:00, when Danimal will take the last shift.
