Park it at the market
• Sedgefield: Wild Oats Community farmers' market every Saturday morning (an award-winning market with over 60 stalls of the finest local farm produce, home bakes, plants and flowers, outdoor breakfast and live music), Scarab Craft Village and Mosaic Market, all in close proximity along the N2.
• Plettenberg Bay: Harkerville Saturday Market every Saturday morning offers food, art and craft and more, on the N2 midway between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
• Rheenendal: Totties Farm Kitchen will be launching a brand new Sunday Market showcasing the artists, crafters and traders of Rheenendal and surrounds on 19 September. Knysna Model Trains will be running from 10:00 to 12:00. There will be music by Paul Zeman and loads of food stalls as well as a safe and secure children's play area.
• Knysna: The Friday Market at Knysna Montessori School is back up and running after its winter break. The market will be open every Friday at the school from 16:00 onwards.
• Knysna: There will be a special Heritage Market held at the Knysna Deli in Trotter Street on Friday 24 September from 10:00 to 17:00. All Covid-19 protocols will be in place.
Local live shows
• Mel's Place will be hosting live music performances from the legendary Mel Botes on Heritage Day (24 September) from 19:00 onwards, and on 25 September there will also be music by the Wendy Oldfield Trio from 14:00 on. Contact Mel's Place on 079 876 0406 for further details.
