KNYSNA NEWS - A veteran of the South African music industry, Wendy Oldfield, will be performing at Bloo Bistro in Knysna tonight, Friday 26 November. The show is set to start at 20:30.
Oldfield will be joined by the talented Keenan Scott, A long-time member of the South African music industry, in 1983 Oldfield was involved in the forming of Sweatband, a South African music group.
She was the lead vocalist, and released two albums. Five years later she left the group and started her own solo career in the music industry.
Her career has led to numerous nominations for music awards in South Africa, and she has left an indelible mark on the industry in the nearly 40 years that she has been active on the music scene. More information on tonight's show can be found on Bloo Bistro's Facebook page.
