KNYSNA NEWS - Two top notch artists on the South African music scene are returning to Knysna after their sell-out performances at the Southern Comfort Knysna Blues Festival in late December.
Riaan Smit, front man of the hugely-talented Crimson House, will be performing two intimate acoustic shows. He'll be appearing with a few "musical mates" to deliver the same mind-blowing sound his fans are accustomed to while jumping effortlessly between gypsy, bluegrass and traditional blues.
Don't miss 'Riaan and Friends' at Red Bridge Brewing Co on Friday March 4 (doors open 17:00) and Blend Country Restaurant and Pub on Saturday March 5 (live music from 19:00 – 21:00).
And still on tour with his new album Afroboer & the Golden Goose, Gerald Clark returns to Knysna with his infectious tunes and passionate performance style. Ranked amongst the world's top solo Rhythm and Blues artists, Gerald will be wowing fans at the Red Bridge Brewing Co on Friday March 11(doors open 17:00).
The artists say they have been enamoured with the support and appreciation by Knysna locals - a driving factor for them both returning so soon after their crowd-winning performances in December. In the words of Smit (Crimson House): "I'm coming to pay another visit to the lovely folk in Knysna... So excited to jam with such amazing people!"
