Search for Miss 7s in final run

SOUTHERN CAPE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Soon beauties from across the country will descend on George to vie for what is expected to become one of the most coveted crowns in the country - along with stacks of great prizes!

Entries close on 2 November, so time is running out.

Be the first to be crowned as Miss 7s Premier League or Miss 7s Premier League Teen on 12 December at a gala evening in the Bravo Lounge of the Garden Route Casino in Mossel Bay.

The winner and 15 finalists will each accompany a competing rugby team onto the field during the opening ceremony of the 7s Premier League on Friday 14 December - coverage any aspiring model or beauty queen can only dream of. All finalists will also feature in the 7sPL street parade through George on Thursday 13 December.

The competition will be judged in two cate-gories: ages 18 to 25 (Miss 7sPL), and ages 15 to 17 (Miss 7sPL Teen) and the senior category winner and two princesses qualify automatically as semi finalists in the Miss SA pageant.

All 16 finalists in the Miss 7sPL competition, and 8 in Miss 7sPL Teen will stay at Protea Mossel bay and Protea Outeniqua in George. The prizes worth R300 000 include a cruise on a luxury ship sponsored by Chas Everitt. As a charity drive forms a huge part of the competition, a Miss 7's Premier League Charity will also be crowned and awarded with a stunning watch to the value of R8 500 sponsored by well known local jewellery store, D'Amato.
