KNYSNA NEWS - Renowned SA band Prime Circle rocked Vinyl on Main bar and music venue over the weekend.
Their performance was to promote their latest album titled 'If You Don’t You Never Will'.
Members of the band, Ross Learmonth, Dale Schnettler, Neil Breytenbach, Marco Gomes, Dirk Bisschoff, Gerhard Venter didn’t need an introduction on Friday night 5 January, with fans screaming excitedly as they took to the stage.
Apart from performing songs off their new album, they also treated the crowd to old favourites that had their supporters singing along to every word.
The talent of these rockers – together now for 17 years – has been finely polished and their songs were slickly delivered, with old favourites such as the ballad She Always Gets What She Wants with a reggae feel to it was well received.
The band’s powerful alternative rock sound proved ideal for the dancing diehards, yet still mellow enough to enjoy at a family picnic, so to speak.
Just when the crowd thought the show was over despite shouting “One more song!” to lure the band back onto the stage, the six musicians reappeared and delivered one of their most loved songs, Consider Me, which had almost everyone at the venue singing along.
