KNYSNA | SEDGEFIELD NEWS – The Knysna/Sedgefield Hospice this week introduced a brand new element to their fundraising efforts with the launch of their first ever online shop for the annual Maison Market.
The Maison Market was an annual spring highlight for many home and decorator enthusiasts around Knysna, but that changed at the outbreak of Covid-19 last year.
Determined to overcome the challenge of the times, the Hospice Events Team refused to rest on its laurels and has reinvented the market as an online pop-up shop that will be available from Wednesday 21 to 28 April at www.hospiceknysna.org.za.
This year's selection of gently used homewares includes beautiful solid wooden tables, lamps, stunning outdoor furniture, soft furnishings, Tempur and Sloom mattresses, and much more.
The most unusual items for sale are two large wicker and leather chests that were originally used as first-aid kits during the Second World War. The Hospice Events Team is making every attempt to branch into the online shopping scene to further diversify their means of fundraising and so all items will be sold online to be collected at the Knysna/Sedgefield Hospice headquarters in Wilson Street in Hunter's Home.

However, for those who want to 'look before they buy' it will be possible to preview items (only during the stipulated dates).
Assistance will also be available for those who struggle with online shopping, and you can contact 083 448 1934 for further info.
