KNYSNA ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Some of South Africa's biggest musical acts visited Knysna during December and January, with Better Live hosting a wide variety of artists and bands during their summer of music.
Better Live shows have been a mainstay in Knysna over the December break for the last few years, and the 2019/20 season was no different as they once again played host to seven different concerts, shows, and festivals.
The majority of the performances were held at Blend Country Restaurant and Pub, with Arno Carstens the only exception, having performed at Red Bridge Brewing Co.
Better Live's summer of music kicked off on 19 December with performances from Steve Umculo and Jo Black, who were able to offer the crowd two very different styles of music, thereby giving them two very different experiences in a matter of hours.
From there, it was non-stop musical mayhem with shows from Matthew Mole, Desmond & the Tutus, The Parlotones, Arno Carstens, and Jesse Clegg to follow.
There was of course also the Knysna Blues Festival on 21 December too, which saw the likes of Gerald Clark, Nhoza, Michael Canfield, Georgetown, Dave Ferguson, Black Water, and The Black Cat Bones take to the stage at Blend.
Kahn Morbee was eclectric as always as the lead man for The Parlotones.
