KNYSNA NEWS - A full month is on the cards at Blend Country Restaurant in March. With everything from classical and comedy to Afrikaans entertainment and a day of blues, there's something for everyone.
Presented by Better Live Events, the jam-packed month kicked off on Saturday 2 March with the internationally acclaimed Andrew Young, celebrated for his soulful and mesmerising saxophone melodies and captivating storytelling.
His new show, Timeless, featured a night filled with enchanting tunes that span jazz, blues and contemporary modern masterpieces.
On Saturday 9 March, Afrikaans comedian and local TV legend Casper de Vries brings you Semi-Lewendig - an adult-orientated Afrikaans show that brings a hilarity into storytelling in a way that only De Vries can get away with.
Changing gears, Sunday 17 March features a double-bill daytime show with two of South Africa's most exceptional blues guitarists: Dan Patlansky (who will be launching his new album Movin' on, and Basson Laubscher (featured in three previous Knysna Blues Festivals).

Fans of blues and mind-bending guitar skills won't want to miss this one. What's more, organiser Better Live promises some surprises for attendees on the day...
Chris Forrest is also visiting Knysna for the first time in decades on Saturday 23 March.
Known for his razor-sharp wit, hilarious takes on life in South Africa and some seriously side-splitting observations, Chris is swapping potholes in Jozi for potholes in the Western Cape, and is here to make you laugh.... hard!

And rounding off a month of entertainment is RAAF (formerly Bottom-less Coffee Band) on Thursday 28 March.
This entertaining theatrical journey will have you laughing, crying and most definitely partying - and is a musical experience you will never forget!

Looking forward to May, Knysna will once again be treated to rock legends Prime Circle. With a new lead singer (Gavin Edwards, The Voice finalist), boundless energy and superb songwriting and performance skills, this band has given audiences over 23 years of flawless and high-energy entertainment... and now, as they say, "they're just getting started".
