GEORGE NEWS - If you've never seen or experienced the South African Lipizzaner, now is your chance.
These majestic animals can be seen at the George Lipizzaner Extravaganza at Déjà vu Equestrian and Cottages this Saturday, 17 June.
This is a great opportunity to see the dancing white stallions. The music, food and drinks are all set, the only thing you need to do is bring your picnic blanket. The whole family will enjoy this unforgettable experience.
The South African Lipizzaners is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation of the Lipizzaner breed in our country.
Alongside their mission of preserving the breed, they also aim to educate the next generation through their First Rand Youth Development Programme.
"The event is not only unique in nature but is also a testament to the possibilities our youth programme creates. One of the students joining this trip is local to the Garden Route and now able to further her equestrian career and studies through the First Rand Youth Development Sponsorship," said Jhan-Mari van den Berg, rider and stud manager at The South African Lipizzaners.
Tickets are available on Quicket at R200 for adults and R150 for children. For more information or bookings, contact The South African Lipizzaners on 079 716 4792.
