ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - A cast of 25 excited, energetic and talented actors, singers and dancers will perform this year's annual pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, at the George Arts Theatre.
The show runs from 7 to 17 December and ticket prices range from R70 to R120. Tickets can be purchased on Computicket or at the Arts Theatre office in York Street.
"We have really kept the prices as low as they can go with special offers on a Wednesday and Thursday of up to 40% off, as well as discounted tickets for groups of 10, pensioners and children," says show director and script writer Heather Stead.
She says Georgians are privileged to have our own community theatre and to be able to offer the public professional and local talented shows right through the year.

More than that, it provides performance experience to those talented individuals who would like to be on stage.
"Over the past 75 years the George Society of Arts has put on over 2 000 productions - all to entertain and grow the Arts in George. This year is no different," she says.
"Bring the whole family and enjoy live theatre in George. After the challenging past few Covid years, when well-known theatres have been closing, the George Arts Theatre has survived! Support the arts and enjoy some wonderful family time."
