The first round takes place tomorrow, Friday, June 29 at Kwa Tshankie Tavern, with two more rounds before the grand final at Nellies Tavern on Saturday, July 7. The organisers invite the public join in the fun and music this Saturday, June 30 at Corner's Tavern, with round three taking place at JJ's Tavern on Sunday, July 1. The closing competition and price-giving by Loxion Tainment will be on Saturday, July 14 at Lloyd's Tavern.
"We had this event last year and we are doing it again this year due to popular demand and interest of the community," explains Sigcu.
"We are looking forward to an even better and expanded competition this year with high quality performances by our best creative local artists!"
Last year, Ruwayne Ennes of Dam-se-Bos was the overall winner, with Nkosana Duna second and Thembinkosi Mali in third place.
