GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The Carpe Musicam! Orchestra and Choir Christmas concert this year, Ode to Joy, will provide 90 minutes of exuberant, sparkling music – all celebrating the wonder of the Christmas celebration and the joy it brings to young and old.

Two violin soloists will bring the Three Kings to life in a magical sound picture.
The Nutcracker Suite gets a makeover and you can look forward to an extra sparkly Jingle Bells.
Countdown to Christmas will chronicle the tribulations of a busy mom readying her home for guests – to the tune of March of the Toys.
And there is much, much more.
Not just a concert, more than a grand cabaret, Ode to Joy is family-friendly seasonal entertainment that will leave the cockles of the heart warmed long after the final notes of the concert.

Three concerts
8 December in Sedgefield in the NGK Hall in Hoopoe Street at 15:30.
13 December in George in the Outeniqua High School Hall at 19:00.
15 December in Mossel Bay in the town hall, Marsh Street, at 18:00.
Ticket prices are R150 for adults and R50 for under 18s.
Coffee and snacks will be available for purchase an hour before the shows.
