KNYSNA NEWS - The classical trio Bella Musica performed their debut concert in Knysna at Amble Ridge Retirement Village to a packed audience on Sunday 18 February.
All the available seats were filled, in expectation of hearing these three musicians perform a high quality and highly enjoyable programme.
The group is made up of Rúan van der Vyver on flute, Calvin Steyn on violin and Jessica Stark on cello.
The program they performed included works from Bach, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Fauré. One of the highlights was the performance of all four movements from Mozart's String Serenade in G major.
After the last item, Pavane from G Fauré, the audience showed their appreciation and awe for the high standard of music by giving a standing ovation.
