GEORGE NEWS - On Friday 28 July the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre will rock with the acoustic sounds of folksy and afro-blues songs performed by the Bottomless Coffee Band.
The multi-instrumentalist duo are returning to George with their show of "gourmet music", and they promise that the audience will be inspired. Between the two of them, they play 12 instruments, which makes for an enjoyably varied show.
"George has always been one of our favourite crowds to play to," says Esté. "Before we achieved any form of commercial success we received immense support from the people of George."
Since their last performance in George the couple has toured extensively in South Africa, Namibia and Europe.
They are now focusing on producing their highly anticipated second album with legendary producer and Springbok Nude Girls member Theo Crous. They have built out their theatre show to accommodate some of the songs on the new album.
The performance will start at 19:00 on Friday 28 July. Tickets are R120 (non-members) and R100 (members), available at www.georgeartstheatre.co.za.
